Administrative Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing and dispatching routine or straightforward letters
  • Answering general queries by telephone
  • Photocopying documents
  • Sorting and opening post
  • Obtaining information from the computer
  • Maintaining records, filing systems and computer files
  • Ordering stationery
  • Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline is required.
  • Communication skill is required.
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment is mandatory for candidates. You will likely be using a variety of office software, such as email, scheduling, word processing and spreadsheet programs. Knowledge of image software programs, databases and accounting software , basic computer networking skills is very useful. Candidates should know how to run and troubleshoot copiers, scanners, fax machines, postage machines and other office equipment.
  • Main purpose of job: To perform general administrative duties and provide support to the all department as required.

Project Manager (Power Turnkey Department)

Description

Empire Solar, a diversified clean energy technologies company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager (Power Turnkey Department) to be based at Ramkhumhaeng headquarters. The successful candidate will join a small and accomplished group dedicated to the widest, most cost- effective deployment of clean solar energy technology possible.

Key Resposibilities

  • This position, within our Power Division, will be responsible for managing projects for the construction of high voltage substations. This includes management of all technical and commercial matters including establishing new project teams, setting budgets and schedules, financial performance and client relations within the company’s rules & regulations, ethics and principles.

  • While ensuring safety as a priority, the PM is responsible for the execution of projects in respect of the contracts, providing works of the specified quality within agreed schedules and budgetary limits set at tender stage.

Skills and Competencies

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

  • Educational background is in electrical engineering (Power system) or relevant discipline is required.
  • Around 3 years of relevant experience in similar project management.
  • Computer literacy and especially MS Offices, MS Project and Graphics/Drawing software (AutoCad, Visio, etc.) , PVsyst and related software design tools

In addition the following skills and experience are desirable:

  • Professional Electrical Engineering experience is required. 2+ years of PV design and engineering are highly preferred.
  • Preferably have good academic or experimental knowledge of project management.
Solar Project Engineer

Description

Empire Solar, a diversified clean energy technologies company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Project Engineer to be based at Ramkhumhaeng headquarters.  The successful candidate will join a small and accomplished group dedicated to the widest, most cost-effective deployment of clean solar energy technology possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical knowledge and creativity to generate preliminary photovoltaic (PV) system design and layouts in support of the sales team.
  • Create equipment off-takes to support the generation of sales budgets and proposals.
  • Complete key PV project documentation, including but no limited by: Perform technical reviews at each stage of a project.
    • Project submittal documents
    • PV layout drawings for construction and permitting
    • Utility interconnection applications and associated paperwork
  • Assist in project procurement by identifying and validating specified equipment.
  • Provide technical oversight of construction work including issuing field changes to project plans, as required, during project installation.

Act as direct liaison with subcontractors, including external design and engineering resources, as applicable

Qualifications

  • Professional Electrical Engineering experience is required.  2+ years of PV design and engineering are highly preferred.
  • Experience and mastery of the following are required  
    • Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint)
    • AutoCAD, PVsyst and related software design tools

Technical Sales Engineer

Description

Empire Solar, a diversified clean energy technologies company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical sales engineer to be based at Ramkhumhaeng headquarters. The position will focus primarily on technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products. Clients are usually technical staff from non-retail organizations, such as factories, public utility providers, local authorities and hospitals. The emphasis of the work varies depending on the level of technical knowledge needed to sell a particular product or service.Technical sales engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre- and after-sales advice. They liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as research, development, design, purchasing, production and quality, as well as senior company managers

  • Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
